Use AssistCall with Cloze
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to Cloze through Live API actions, Zapier, Make, n8n.
Cloze: A relationship CRM that builds contact timelines from email, calls and notes and is used by real estate agents and other relationship-driven businesses.
Connects
Example call
A past client calls asking for a lender referral. AssistCall finds them in Cloze, takes the message, and logs the call on their timeline with a to-do to call back. The agent sees the to-do in their Cloze agenda.
- During a call, look up the caller in Cloze with /v1/people/find using your own API key
- After each call, log it on the contact's timeline with Zapier's Create Communication action, including the summary
- When the caller asks for a callback, create a Cloze to-do for the agent through Zapier's Create ToDo action or /v1/timeline/todo/create
How it connects
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About Cloze's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST (JSON), OpenAPI spec published
- Authentication: API key (api_key query parameter or Bearer header); OAuth 2.0 for published integrations
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
Users create an API key themselves (directions at help.cloze.com/article/2176-api-key). Cloze says integrations published for Cloze users outside your organization must use OAuth 2.0, so the API key route is for a business connecting its own account. Endpoints include /v1/people/find, /v1/people/create, /v1/timeline/communication/create, /v1/timeline/todo/create and /v1/webhooks/subscribe. Zapier app: 3 triggers and 7 actions, including Create Communication (email or call record), Create/Update a Person, Create a Note and Create ToDo. Make has a verified app maintained by Make.
