If it has an API, AssistCall connects to it.

AssistCall answers your calls 24/7. AssistCall Connect sends every call, message and booking to the software you already use, through Zapier, Make, n8n or signed webhooks, and lets your receptionist look things up in your own system during a call. Below are 244 popular business systems we researched, with exactly how each one connects.

Forward your line

Keep your number. Forward it to AssistCall when you are busy, after hours or all the time, from any carrier or phone system.

Pick what to send

Choose events: call completed (summary, transcript, recording link), message taken, appointment booked, moved or canceled, new caller.

Send it anywhere

Paste a Zapier, Make or n8n catch-hook URL, or your own server's URL. Each event is signed JSON, retried if your side is down.

Look things up live

Add an API action with your own key, like "find this caller's open jobs". The receptionist uses it during the call and answers from the result.

CRM and sales

The CRM is where a small business keeps its leads, customer history and follow-ups, so a call that never gets answered, or whose details never reach the CRM, is a lost lead or a callback with no context. With AssistCall connected, each answered call, message, booking and new lead ends up on the right contact or deal record, ready for the owner or a sales rep to act on.

Field service and home services

Home service businesses miss calls when techs are on a job, under a sink or driving between stops, and a missed call usually goes to the next contractor in the search results. Connecting the phone to the field service system means an answered call becomes a client, lead, request or booking in the same place the office schedules and dispatches work, instead of a voicemail someone has to retype.

Calendars and scheduling

Most small businesses that take appointments keep their schedule in a calendar or booking app, and a missed call is often a missed booking. When the phone line is connected to that system, a booking made on the phone lands on the same calendar the staff already use, and each call comes with a summary and recording. Where the scheduling tool has a self-serve API token (Calendly, Square, Acuity, Cal.com, TidyCal), AssistCall can also check open times and book while the caller is still on the line.

Dental practice software

Dental offices miss calls during procedures, at lunch and after hours, and a missed new-patient or emergency call often goes to the practice down the street. The practice management system (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental and others) holds the schedule and patient records, so details from every call need to reach the front desk quickly. Most dental PMS vendors limit API access to approved partners, so for many systems AssistCall works alongside the PMS through call forwarding and emailed summaries. Open Dental (with a developer key) and API layers such as NexHealth Synchronizer and Sikka let a developer move AssistCall call data into the PMS.

Medical, therapy and wellness

Clinics, therapists and wellness practitioners miss calls while they are with patients or after hours, and every missed new-patient call is a booking lost. Getting call details into the practice system, or at least to the front desk with a clear summary, saves staff from re-typing voicemails. Most EHRs in this category only open their APIs to approved partners, and AssistCall does not sign a HIPAA BAA. For most practices the honest setup is call forwarding plus emailed summaries, with live API links only where the vendor lets customers create their own keys (IntakeQ, Healthie, DrChrono, Practice Better, Tebra).

Legal practice management

For a law firm, a missed call is often a prospective client who simply calls the next firm, and intake details typed in by hand from voicemail get lost or entered late. When AssistCall is connected to the firm's practice management system, the caller's details, the call summary, the transcript and the recording link go straight into the contact, lead or matter record. The firm can also check whether a caller is already a client, so existing clients and new inquiries are handled differently.

Salon, spa and beauty

Salons, spas, barbershops and med spas miss calls all day because the person who could answer is with a client, and a caller who reaches voicemail often books somewhere else. With AssistCall connected to their booking system, every call gets answered. Callers can be matched to their client record when the system's API allows it, and booking requests and messages go to the place the front desk already works.

Restaurants and hospitality

Restaurants and small hotels lose bookings, takeout orders and event business when the phone rings during service or after the front desk closes. Connecting AssistCall to the POS, scheduling, events or property system lets the receptionist answer stock, order-status and room-availability questions on the call and put event leads straight into the sales tool. Many reservation platforms only open their APIs to approved partners. For those, AssistCall still answers every forwarded call and emails a summary, and staff enter the booking themselves.

Real estate CRMs

Agents and teams compete on speed to lead. A buyer who calls about a listing and gets voicemail often calls the next agent. When calls are connected to the CRM, every caller becomes a lead record with the summary, transcript and recording attached, and gets routed to the right agent and put on the follow-up plan instead of ending up on a sticky note.

Property management

Property managers and landlords get calls about burst pipes at 2am, prospects asking about vacancies, and owners wanting updates, often more than a small office can answer. If those calls land in the property management system as tenant lookups, work orders or new leads, nothing gets re-typed and urgent repairs aren't lost in voicemail. When the system offers no API, forwarding the line and emailing call summaries still means every call gets answered.

Auto repair and dealerships

Repair shops and dealerships miss calls while advisors are at the counter, techs are under a car, or the store is closed, and every missed call can be a lost repair order or a lost sale. Their shop management, DMS and CRM systems hold the customer, vehicle and repair-order records that callers ask about. Connecting calls to those systems gets appointments, messages and phone leads to the advisor or BDC without anyone typing them in twice.

Help desk and team chat

Support teams work out of a help desk, and most small businesses coordinate in a team chat app. When phone calls connect to these tools, a caller's message becomes a ticket next to the team's email and chat, and urgent calls show up in Slack, Teams or Google Chat where staff already are instead of sitting in voicemail. Most of these connections run through AssistCall's webhook events and Zapier, Make or n8n. Live lookups during a call are offered only where the system lets the business create its own long-lived API token.

Marketing, SMS and reviews

Local businesses get found on Google and Yelp, then win repeat business through email, texts and review requests. Many of those customers first show up as a phone call. Connecting AssistCall's call events to these tools means callers get confirmation texts, land on the right list when they ask to, and enter review and follow-up campaigns without anyone retyping notes.

E-commerce and online stores

Online sellers get calls about order status, returns, stock and custom orders, often while they're packing, shipping or away from the phone. When AssistCall is connected to the store or shipping system, the receptionist can answer "where is my order" with real order data, and every call, message and lead lands next to the order and customer records the owner already uses.

Payments, invoicing and accounting

The accounting or payments system is where a small business keeps track of who owes what, so calls about quotes, invoices and payments need to end up there or with the person who works in it. With AssistCall connected, new callers can be added as customers, billing messages reach the bookkeeper with the caller's details, and where the system lets you create a long-lived API key (Square, Stripe, Wave, Invoice Ninja), the receptionist can look up an invoice balance while the caller is still on the line. AssistCall never takes card payments by phone.

Business phone systems and carriers

Every call AssistCall answers starts on the business's existing phone line, so the carrier or phone system decides when a call reaches the receptionist: on every call, when the line is busy, when nobody picks up, or after hours. Setting those forwarding rules correctly keeps the business's number and caller ID unchanged while missed and after-hours calls get answered, booked or turned into messages instead of going to voicemail. Several cloud phone systems (Quo, Dialpad, RingCentral, Zoom Phone, Twilio) also have Zapier, Make or API options for texting callers or saving contacts after the call.

Automation, spreadsheets and work management

A lot of small businesses run day to day on a spreadsheet, a board or a task list, and they use automation platforms to move data between apps without hiring a developer. When the receptionist answers a call, the caller's details, the reason for the call and any booking should show up where the team already works, as a row, card or task. Otherwise they sit in an inbox and someone has to retype them. Zapier, Make, n8n and Power Automate each give AssistCall's signed webhook events a URL to post to, and those platforms then pass the data on to thousands of other apps.

Fitness, vet, pet care, insurance, cleaning and moving

Gyms, vet clinics, groomers and daycares, insurance agencies, cleaning companies and movers all miss calls during a class, a surgery, a groom or a job, and the caller usually tries the next business. Their day-to-day work lives in a system built for their trade, so each answered call needs to reach that system as a lead, booking request or message. Many vendors here only give API access to approved partners. For those, AssistCall works alongside the system through call forwarding and emailed summaries. Where a business can create its own key, or the system has a Zapier or Make app (Wodify, SmartMoving, AgencyZoom, EZLynx, ZenMaid, BookingKoala), call leads and notes can go straight into it.

Questions

Are these native integrations?

No. AssistCall connects through Zapier, Make and n8n, through signed webhooks, through live API actions that use your own API key, and through call forwarding. There are no one-click marketplace apps, no partnerships and no two-way sync. Each page says exactly which of these work for that system.

Do I need a developer?

Not for Zapier, Make or call forwarding: most setups take minutes. Live API actions need an API key from your software and a URL, which some owners set up themselves and others hand to a developer. Call Ava at 1-888-247-0160 and our team can help.

What if my software isn't listed?

If it has an API you can get a key for, or an app on Zapier or Make, AssistCall can connect to it the same way. The list shows popular systems we researched, not the limit.

What does "works alongside" mean?

Some vendors only open their API to approved partners. For those, AssistCall answers the calls you forward and emails you a summary, transcript and recording, and you enter the booking in your system. We say so on the page instead of pretending otherwise.

Can AssistCall book straight into my calendar?

AssistCall books into its own calendar during the call and sends an appointment.booked event, which a Zap or workflow can add to Google Calendar, Outlook, Calendly and many booking tools. Where a tool has a self-serve API, a live API action can check its open times too. There is no two-way calendar sync.

Is patient information covered by HIPAA?

AssistCall does not sign HIPAA business associate agreements. Medical and dental offices can forward calls and get summaries, but should not send protected health information through integrations.

Which plans include integrations?

Webhooks and live API actions are included on every plan, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Zapier, Make and your other software have their own plans.
