Use AssistCall with Comcast Business

Keep your Comcast Business number. Forward it to AssistCall when you're busy, don't pick up or after hours, and every call gets answered, booked or turned into a message, with a summary by email.

Comcast Business: Comcast's internet and business phone service (Business Voice and VoiceEdge) for offices, shops and restaurants in its cable footprint.

Connects

Example call

During the lunch rush a caller asks a pizzeria whether it caters for 40 people. The line is busy, so *90 forwarding sends the call to AssistCall, which takes the date, headcount and callback number and emails the owner the message.

How it connects

About Comcast Business's API

No customer API for call forwarding was found. Business Voice lines can be forwarded online (My Account, Phone, Features tab, Call Forwarding) or with star codes: *90 busy forwarding (*91 off), confirmed in a Comcast Business forum reply; third-party guides list *92 for no-answer forwarding (*93 off) and *63 for selective forwarding, though one guide lists a different no-answer code, so test after setting it. VoiceEdge customers manage forwarding in the VoiceEdge portal; Comcast's help center has a VoiceEdge Select call forwarding article.

Not included: no one-click Comcast Business app, no listing in Comcast Business's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Comcast.
