Use AssistCall with IFTTT

AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and works alongside IFTTT: forwarded calls get answered, booked or noted, with a summary of every call by email.

IFTTT: A simple automation service for consumers where applets link apps and smart devices, for example to send a phone notification or add a spreadsheet row when something happens.

Works alongside

Example call

A caller to a one-person bakery asks to order a birthday cake for Saturday. The receptionist takes the message, IFTTT receives the event, and the owner gets a notification from the IFTTT app with the caller's name and request (parsed with filter code on Pro+).

How it connects

About IFTTT's API

The trigger that receives AssistCall events is 'Receive a web request with a JSON payload'. It needs IFTTT Pro ($2.99 a month, 20 applets) or Pro+ ($8.99 a month). The Free plan doesn't include Webhooks. The URL must contain /json/. IFTTT then puts the whole AssistCall event into a single {{JsonPayload}} ingredient. Splitting it into fields such as caller name and summary takes filter code, and filters come with Pro+. IFTTT works for simple alerts. For CRM updates or multi-step work, Zapier, Make or n8n are a better fit.

Not included: no one-click IFTTT app, no listing in IFTTT's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with IFTTT Inc..
