Connects
Example call
A caller asks about a commercial cleaning contract. The receptionist takes their company name, number and square footage. A Zap creates an item on the 'New leads' board in monday.com with the call summary, and a sales rep picks it up from the board.
- Create an item on a 'Calls' or 'Leads' board for every completed call, with the caller's number, summary and recording link in columns, using Zapier's or Make's monday.com actions.
- During a call, the receptionist runs a create_item mutation with your personal token to put an urgent request on the service board while the caller is still on the line.
- Send appointment.booked events through n8n's monday.com node to add each booking to a board with its date, time and reason.
How it connects
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About monday.com's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: GraphQL
- Authentication: A personal API token (V2) from the Developer Center, sent in the Authorization header with no Bearer prefix. Tokens have no set expiry and stop working only when you regenerate them.
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
Admins and members can get their own personal token. Viewers can't, and guests can't get a personal token. Daily call limits: 1,000 on Free, Basic and Standard, 10,000 on Pro and 25,000 on Enterprise. There is also a per-minute complexity budget. Every request is a POST to https://api.monday.com/v2, so AssistCall's JSON body template carries the GraphQL query. Passing the caller's details as GraphQL variables avoids problems with quote marks in names.
