Use AssistCall with OpenTable
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and works alongside OpenTable: forwarded calls get answered, booked or noted, with a summary of every call by email.
OpenTable: OpenTable is a restaurant reservation network and table-management system that lets diners book online and helps restaurants run the floor and the guest list.
Works alongside
Example call
A caller asks for a table for six on Saturday at 7pm. AssistCall takes the name, phone, party size and time as a reservation request, without touching OpenTable. The host gets an email summary and books it in OpenTable.
- Forward your line to AssistCall during service or after close so reservation calls are answered
- Take reservation and private-dining requests as messages (name, phone, party size, date, time) and email them to the host to enter in OpenTable
- Transfer callers who need to change an existing booking to the host stand or a manager
How it connects
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About OpenTable's API
- Partner API: the vendor approves access
- Style: REST
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 (issued to approved partners)
- On Zapier: no. On Make: no.
OpenTable's API families (booking, CRM, POS, private dining, reviews and others) all need a partner application, a use-case review and a signed agreement. Restaurants can't get a self-serve key. AssistCall is not an OpenTable partner, so it does not read or write OpenTable reservations. We found no Zapier or Make app.
Not included: no one-click OpenTable app, no listing in OpenTable's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with OpenTable (Booking Holdings).
Researched by the AssistCall team and checked against OpenTable (Booking Holdings)'s public pages on October 24, 2026. OpenTable is a trademark of OpenTable (Booking Holdings). AssistCall is an independent product of Starling Global LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by OpenTable (Booking Holdings).
