Example call

A first-time caller asks about catering. AssistCall takes their name and number, and a Make scenario adds them as a Clover customer. The owner sees the new customer in Clover and gets the call summary by email.

How it connects

About Clover's API

Clover's FAQ says merchants can create a merchant-specific API token in their Clover Dashboard (Settings > API Tokens) and pick its permissions. Clover describes this for internal tools on a single merchant account. Some Clover pages describe the same token in a sandbox setting, so confirm it is available on your production account before relying on it. Rate limits apply per merchant, app and endpoint. Clover webhooks need a Clover app. Zapier stopped supporting Clover in 2020. Make has a Clover POS app, maintained by Make, with modules including Create a Customer, Get a Customer, Get an Order and Make an API Call.

Not included: no one-click Clover app, no listing in Clover's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Fiserv.

Researched by the AssistCall team and checked against Fiserv's public pages on October 24, 2026. Clover is a trademark of Fiserv. AssistCall is an independent product of Starling Global LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Fiserv.
