Use AssistCall with Cloudbeds
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to Cloudbeds through Zapier, Live API actions, Webhook, n8n.
Cloudbeds: Cloudbeds is a property management system for independent hotels, hostels, inns and vacation rentals, covering reservations, front desk, channel management and payments.
Connects
Example call
A caller asks if you have a king room on Friday and Saturday. AssistCall checks availability in Cloudbeds, answers, and takes their details as a booking request. The front desk gets an email and finishes the booking in Cloudbeds.
- During a call, check which room types are free for the caller's dates with Cloudbeds' getAvailableRoomTypes, using your own API key
- During a call, look up a guest's reservation with getReservations so the receptionist can confirm check-in dates
- Forward the front desk line overnight so booking requests are taken as messages and emailed to the morning shift
How it connects
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About Cloudbeds's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST
- Authentication: API key created by the property; OAuth 2.0 for technology partners
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: no.
A property user creates credentials under Account > Apps & Marketplace > API Credentials, then generates an API key with the scopes they choose. The key is shown only once. Some endpoints are partner-only. Zapier's Cloudbeds app has triggers only (new reservation, new guest, cancellation and others) and no actions, so an AssistCall event can't write to Cloudbeds through Zapier. We found no Make app.
Not included: no one-click Cloudbeds app, no listing in Cloudbeds's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Cloudbeds.
