Use AssistCall with Klaviyo
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to Klaviyo through Webhook, Live API actions, Zapier, Make, n8n.
Klaviyo: Email, SMS and customer-data platform used mostly by online stores to send automated flows and campaigns based on shopper data.
Connects
Example call
A shopper calls about a late order. AssistCall takes the message, and its webhook triggers a Zap that adds a 'Phone call' event to the shopper's Klaviyo profile, where your team sees the call summary in the activity feed.
- When a call ends, a Zap started by AssistCall's call.completed webhook runs Klaviyo's Create Event to log a 'Phone call' event with the summary on the caller's profile. A Klaviyo flow can be set to start from that event.
- During a live call, the receptionist looks up the caller's Klaviyo profile by phone number with your private API key, to tell whether they are an existing customer.
- Send lead.captured events to Make's Klaviyo app to create or update the profile with the caller's name, phone and email.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About Klaviyo's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST (JSON:API)
- Authentication: Private API key (Authorization: Klaviyo-API-Key header) or OAuth 2.0
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
Owners, Admins and Managers create private keys under Settings > API keys, scoped Custom, Read-only or Full Access (for example profiles:read, events:write). Every request needs a revision header. The Webhooks API is limited to Advanced KDP customers and Klaviyo app partners. Klaviyo flows can also call a webhook. n8n has no dedicated Klaviyo node, so you use the HTTP Request node.
Not included: no one-click Klaviyo app, no listing in Klaviyo's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Klaviyo, Inc..
