Use AssistCall with Yelp
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to Yelp through Webhook, Zapier.
Yelp: Local business directory and review site where customers find businesses, read reviews, call, and send Request-a-Quote leads.
Connects
Example call
Someone who found you on Yelp calls on a Sunday afternoon. Your forwarded line reaches AssistCall, which takes the job details and emails you the summary, and a Zap marks their open Yelp quote request as replied.
- Forward the phone number on your Yelp page to AssistCall after hours or when you are busy, so people calling from Yelp get answered, booked or have a message taken.
- Use two Zaps. The first uses Yelp Leads' New Lead trigger to save each lead's ID and phone number to a Zapier Table. The second, started by AssistCall's call.completed webhook, finds the caller's number in that table and runs Mark Lead as Replied on the matching Yelp lead.
- Send every call.completed event by webhook to your CRM or spreadsheet with the caller's number, summary and recording link, so phone inquiries sit next to your Yelp quote requests.
How it connects
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
About Yelp's API
- Partner API: the vendor approves access
- Style: REST
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 (Leads API, partners only)
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
Only Yelp advertising and listing-management reseller partners who meet a minimum spend can use the Leads API and its webhooks. Other businesses use Yelp's own Zapier app, Yelp Leads, which needs Request-a-Quote enabled. Its triggers are New Lead and New Consumer Message; its actions include Create Message, Mark Lead as Replied and Get Lead Details. Make's Yelp app only covers public business search and review data, not leads. Leads created since April 16, 2026 can include the consumer's unmasked phone number.
Not included: no one-click Yelp app, no listing in Yelp's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Yelp Inc..
