A customer taps Call on your Google listing at 9 pm. Your forwarded line reaches AssistCall, which answers, books them for tomorrow morning and emails you the summary and recording link.

• Forward the phone number on your Google Business Profile to AssistCall when you are busy or closed, so calls from Google Search and Maps are answered, booked or turned into messages.
• Send each call.completed event (caller number, summary, transcript, recording link) by webhook to your CRM or a spreadsheet, so calls that come from your listing are logged with what the caller wanted.
• On an appointment.booked event, a Zap can wait until after the visit and then send the customer your Google review link through your own SMS or email app's Zapier integration.

How it connects

• Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
• Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
• Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.

About Google Business Profile's API

Google has to approve API use first. You submit the GBP API contact form and choose 'Application for Basic API Access'. The profile must be verified and active for 60+ days and list a website. Your project's quota stays at 0 QPM until approval and is 300 QPM after. Zapier (New Review, Updated Review, Create Post, Create Reply), Make and n8n all have Business Profile apps, but they cover posts and reviews, not phone calls. For AssistCall, the useful connection is forwarding the phone number on your listing.

Not included: no one-click Google Business Profile app, no listing in Google Business Profile's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Google.
