Use AssistCall with eBay
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to eBay through Webhook, Zapier, n8n.
eBay: eBay is an online marketplace where businesses and individuals sell new and used goods at auction or fixed price.
Connects
Example call
Caller says "I'm buyer jsmith22 and my eBay order hasn't arrived." AssistCall takes the message; a Zap runs Find an Order for that username, and the owner gets an email with the message and the matching order.
- When a caller leaves a message about an eBay purchase, a Zap runs eBay's Find an Order search by buyer username and emails you the matching orders with the message.
- Forward your business line to AssistCall so buyers and suppliers who call get answered 24/7.
- Send every call summary and recording link through Zapier to whoever handles eBay returns and disputes.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About eBay's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST (Sell APIs) plus the older XML Trading API
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 user access tokens, renewed with a refresh token
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: no.
eBay's developer pages blocked automated access during this research, so plan, approval and token-lifetime details were not verified. eBay user tokens come from the seller granting consent to an app. Zapier's eBay app has a New Order trigger, a Create a Shipping Fulfillment action and a Find an Order search (filter by date range, fulfillment status or username). A Make eBay app could not be confirmed.
Not included: no one-click eBay app, no listing in eBay's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with eBay Inc..
