Use AssistCall with WooCommerce
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to WooCommerce through Webhook, Live API actions, Zapier, Make, n8n.
WooCommerce: WooCommerce is a free, open-source plugin that turns a WordPress website into an online store with products, orders, customers and payments.
Connects
Example call
Caller says "Where is order 4411?" AssistCall requests order 4411 from the store's WooCommerce REST API with a read-only key, tells the caller it's marked Completed, and the owner gets an email summary with the transcript.
- During a call, AssistCall looks up an order through the WooCommerce REST API with a read-only key and tells the caller its status, such as processing, on hold or completed.
- After a call about an order, a Zap adds the call summary to that order in WooCommerce with Create Order Note.
- When AssistCall captures a lead, Zapier's Find or Create Customer action adds the caller to your WooCommerce customers.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About WooCommerce's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST (v3)
- Authentication: Consumer key and secret, sent with HTTP Basic auth over HTTPS
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
A store admin creates keys in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API and picks Read, Write or Read/Write access. Requires WooCommerce 3.5+ and HTTPS; some hosts strip the Authorization header, in which case keys can be sent as query parameters. Response speed depends on your web host, which matters for AssistCall's few-second live lookup timeout. Zapier's WooCommerce app includes Find Customer, Find Order and Create Order Note; n8n has a WooCommerce node.
Not included: no one-click WooCommerce app, no listing in WooCommerce's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Automattic (WooCommerce).
