A caller asks for balayage next week. AssistCall finds her in Phorest by phone, checks availability, takes her preferred slot and creates a lead. You get the summary and recording by email and confirm the booking in Phorest.

During a call, AssistCall looks up the caller by phone through Phorest's List clients endpoint, using API credentials Phorest issues for your account.
While the caller is on the line, AssistCall checks open times through Phorest's Appointment Availability endpoint.
When a new caller asks about a service, AssistCall creates a lead in Phorest (Create a new lead) so your team can follow up.

How it connects

Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.

About Phorest's API

Phorest support issues the credentials on request; you don't generate them in the app. Submit Phorest's support request form with your Phorest account number, from an email address linked to your business. US accounts use Phorest's US server. Endpoints include List clients (filterable by phone), Create a client, Appointment Availability, Create a booking and Create a new lead. Phorest's developer docs don't describe webhooks. There is no Phorest app on Zapier (zapier.com/apps/phorest returns 404).

Not included: no one-click Phorest app, no listing in Phorest's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Phorest.
