Use AssistCall with Zoho CRM
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to Zoho CRM through Webhook, Zapier, Make, n8n.
Zoho CRM: A CRM from Zoho with a free edition and low-cost paid editions, used to track leads, contacts, deals and sales activity.
Connects
Example call
A homeowner calls about a quote on Saturday. The receptionist collects their address and job details. A Zap creates a lead in Zoho CRM, and when the owner opens Zoho on Monday the lead is there with the call summary.
- When AssistCall sends lead.captured, a Zap creates a Zoho CRM lead with the caller's name, number and what they asked about.
- After each call, a Zap finds the caller's Zoho CRM record and adds the call summary and recording link as a related note.
- An n8n workflow turns each appointment.booked event into a meeting record in Zoho CRM, so the booking sits on the customer's record.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About Zoho CRM's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST (API v8)
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0. A customer can register a Self Client in the Zoho API Console to get tokens.
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
Every edition gets daily API credits on a rolling 24 hours. Free gets 5,000. Standard gets 50,000 plus 250 per user, up to 100,000. Professional gets 50,000 plus 500 per user, up to 3,000,000. Enterprise and Ultimate get more. Zoho can push data changes through workflow webhooks and its Notification APIs. Access tokens expire after one hour and must be refreshed. AssistCall's live API step uses a fixed key, so it is not offered for Zoho CRM; use Zapier, Make or n8n instead.
Not included: no one-click Zoho CRM app, no listing in Zoho CRM's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Zoho Corporation.
