Use AssistCall with Microsoft Bookings
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to Microsoft Bookings through Webhook, n8n.
Microsoft Bookings: Microsoft 365's booking pages and shared appointment calendar for teams, connected to Outlook and Teams.
Connects
Example call
A caller asks for a tax-prep consult. The receptionist books it and AssistCall sends appointment.booked to an n8n workflow, which creates the appointment in Microsoft Bookings. Staff see it in Bookings and on their Outlook calendars.
- AssistCall's appointment.booked event goes to an n8n workflow, which creates the appointment in your shared Bookings calendar through Microsoft Graph.
- AssistCall's call.completed events go to n8n, which adds new callers to Bookings as customers with their name and phone number.
- When a caller cancels, an n8n workflow cancels the matching Bookings appointment through Graph.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About Microsoft Bookings's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST (Microsoft Graph Bookings API)
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 with delegated or application permissions (e.g. BookingsAppointment.ReadWrite.All)
- On Zapier: no. On Make: no.
The Graph Bookings API covers shared booking pages only, not personal bookings. It needs an app registered in Microsoft Entra ID with admin consent, and its tokens are short-lived. Zapier has no Microsoft Bookings app and we found none on Make, so connections go through n8n or your own code.
Not included: no one-click Microsoft Bookings app, no listing in Microsoft Bookings's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Microsoft.
