Use AssistCall with HubSpot Service Hub
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to HubSpot Service Hub through Zapier, Make, n8n.
HubSpot Service Hub: HubSpot's customer service software, with help desk tickets, a shared inbox and a knowledge base on the same CRM as HubSpot's sales and marketing tools.
Connects
Example call
A client calls to say they can't log in to their account. The receptionist takes the details, and a new ticket appears in the HubSpot help desk with the call summary and recording link.
- Open a HubSpot ticket for each message the receptionist takes, with the summary and recording link, using Zapier's Create Ticket action or n8n's HubSpot node.
- Create or update the caller as a HubSpot contact from lead.captured events with Zapier's Create or Update Contact action, so new callers are in the CRM before anyone calls back.
- Log each completed call on the contact's timeline with Zapier's Create Engagement action.
How it connects
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About HubSpot Service Hub's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST
- Authentication: Private app access token (created by a super admin) or OAuth 2.0
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
A super admin creates a private app, now listed under Development > Legacy apps, to get an access token. Free and Starter accounts are limited to 100 calls per 10 seconds and 250,000 per day. A new ticket needs a pipeline and stage, which you pick once when you build the Zap or workflow. If the CRM section of the directory already has a HubSpot page, link this ticket-focused page from it.
Not included: no one-click HubSpot Service Hub app, no listing in HubSpot Service Hub's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with HubSpot, Inc..
