Use AssistCall with HighLevel
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to HighLevel through Webhook, Live API actions, Zapier, Make, n8n.
HighLevel: An all-in-one CRM and marketing platform, also known as GoHighLevel, that agencies resell to local businesses. Each client sub-account gets pipelines, calendars, SMS, email and phone numbers.
Connects
Example call
A med spa gets a call at 9 pm asking about Botox pricing. The receptionist answers, takes the caller's name and number, and books a consultation. A Make scenario creates the contact, a note with the booking details and a follow-up task in HighLevel, and the spa owner sees the new lead in their sub-account the next morning.
- During a call, the receptionist uses a Private Integration Token to check the sub-account for a contact with the caller's number, so returning clients are greeted by name.
- After a call, a Make scenario creates the contact in HighLevel, adds the call summary as a note and creates a follow-up task.
- lead.captured events go to the LeadConnector app on Zapier, which adds or updates an opportunity in the right pipeline stage.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About HighLevel's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST (API v2)
- Authentication: Private Integration Token (static, scoped Bearer token) or OAuth 2.0
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
HighLevel says its Starter and Unlimited plans include basic API access, and Agency Pro adds advanced access with agency-level keys. Private Integration Tokens are created under Settings > Private Integrations and are available to agencies and sub-accounts. Agency admins can create them by default. Tokens do not expire, but HighLevel recommends rotating them every 90 days. Documented OAuth limits are 100 requests per 10 seconds and 200,000 a day per location. Requests also need a Version header. HighLevel's Zapier app is listed under its LeadConnector brand.
