Example call

A contractor calls at 6pm needing a certificate of insurance for a job tomorrow. AssistCall takes his company name, the certificate holder's details and his email. Your CSR gets the summary and recording first thing and issues the certificate from Epic.

• Forward your agency's main line to AssistCall after hours or when every CSR is on a call, so certificate requests, claim questions and quote calls still get answered.
• AssistCall takes the caller's name, business or policy name and what they need, and emails your service team the summary, transcript and recording to log in Epic.
• Send AssistCall's message.taken and lead.captured events by webhook to your own endpoint, or to a Zapier or Make workflow that posts urgent claim calls to your team chat.

• Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.

About Applied Epic's API

• Partner API: the vendor approves access
• Style: REST (JSON), plus a legacy Applied Epic SDK
• Authentication: App credentials from Applied's Dev Center. Production credentials are issued only after Applied approves a request. Third-party sources describe OAuth 2.0 client credentials; Applied doesn't publish how long tokens last.
• On Zapier: no. On Make: no.

Anyone can register on Applied's Dev Center and create test credentials. Production access means submitting a request with the agency's enterprise ID and Epic database name and waiting for Applied's approval. Applied's own blog says an SDK-API license is also needed. Because access depends on Applied's approval, AssistCall does not offer live Epic lookups. I found no Applied Epic app on Zapier or Make.

Not included: no one-click Applied Epic app, no listing in Applied Epic's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Applied Systems, Inc..
