A caller asks for a homeowners quote after hours. AssistCall takes her name, number, address and renewal date. A Zap creates a personal lead in AgencyZoom, and your producer sees it in the pipeline with the call summary the next morning.

• Send AssistCall's lead.captured event to a Zap that creates a Personal Lead in AgencyZoom with the caller's name, phone number and the coverage they asked about.
• When an existing client calls with a change or billing question, a Zap can create an AgencyZoom Task for a CSR to call back, with the call summary and recording link.
• An n8n workflow can log in to AgencyZoom's API, find the lead by the caller's phone number, and add the call summary as a note on that lead.

How it connects

• Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
• n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
• Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
• Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.

About AgencyZoom's API

• Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
• Style: REST (JSON)
• Authentication: Log in with an AgencyZoom user's email and password to get a JWT, which is sent as a Bearer token. Tokens expire (the login response gives expiresIn) and are renewed with a refresh token.
• On Zapier: yes. On Make: no.

AgencyZoom's API acts as the logged-in user, so its docs recommend using the agency owner's login for full access. The rate limit is 120 calls a minute (as of August 17, 2026). Leads can be searched by phone (customerPhone, customerPhoneList) and notes added with POST /v1/api/leads/{leadId}/notes. Tokens come from a login and expire, so AssistCall's fixed-key live lookups don't fit; an n8n workflow can log in first and then call the API. Zapier's AgencyZoom app connects with the API key and secret under Integrations > Zapier in AgencyZoom. Its actions include Create Personal Lead, Create Business Lead, Create Note, Create Service Request, Update Lead and Create Task. I found no AgencyZoom app on Make.

Not included: no one-click AgencyZoom app, no listing in AgencyZoom's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Vertafore.
