Use AssistCall with FieldRoutes
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to FieldRoutes through Webhook, Live API actions, n8n.
FieldRoutes: Route-based field service software for pest control and lawn care companies, covering scheduling, routing, billing and customer portals.
Connects
Example call
Caller asks when their next mosquito treatment is. AssistCall searches FieldRoutes with the company's API key, finds the upcoming appointment and reads back the date. The owner gets the call summary email.
- During a call, search FieldRoutes customers by phone with your company's API key so the receptionist can confirm the caller's next service appointment.
- When AssistCall captures a lead, an n8n workflow creates the customer in FieldRoutes from the lead.captured event.
- Forward your office line to AssistCall after hours, and each message.taken event is logged to FieldRoutes by an n8n workflow.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About FieldRoutes's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST (JSON, POST to /api/{endpoint}/{action})
- Authentication: authenticationKey and authenticationToken headers, plus your subdomain
- On Zapier: no. On Make: no.
Keys are not generated in-app: FieldRoutes issues them to the company that owns the account on request through your account team, and they can be limited to read-only, specific endpoints or an expiry date. No vendor or multi-tenant keys. Fees and webhooks are not documented. No Zapier or Make app found.
Not included: no one-click FieldRoutes app, no listing in FieldRoutes's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with FieldRoutes.
