Use AssistCall with Zoho Desk
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to Zoho Desk through Zapier, Make, n8n.
Zoho Desk: Zoho's help desk software for handling customer emails, calls, chats and social messages as tickets, often used with Zoho CRM.
Connects
Example call
A customer calls to report that a delivered part is the wrong size. The receptionist takes the order number and details, and a Zoho Desk ticket opens in the right department with the call summary.
- Create a Zoho Desk ticket from every message the receptionist takes, using Zapier's Create Ticket action or Make.
- Add new callers as Zoho Desk contacts from lead.captured events with Zapier's Find or Create Contact action.
- Send urgent messages to a specific Zoho Desk department by setting the department on the ticket in Make or n8n.
How it connects
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About Zoho Desk's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST
- Authentication: OAuth 2.0 through the Zoho API Console (self client)
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
Zoho access tokens last one hour and must be refreshed, so AssistCall connects through Zapier, Make or n8n, which handle the refresh, instead of live lookups with a fixed token. Zoho runs separate data centers (.com, .eu, .in and others), so connections must use the domain where the account lives.
Not included: no one-click Zoho Desk app, no listing in Zoho Desk's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with Zoho Corporation.
