Use AssistCall with MailerLite
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to MailerLite through Webhook, Live API actions, Zapier, Make, n8n.
MailerLite: Email marketing tool for small businesses and creators, with newsletters, automations, landing pages and signup forms.
Connects
Example call
A caller asks to hear about your next sale. AssistCall takes their email, a Zap adds them to your 'Phone sign-ups' group, and the subscriber appears in that MailerLite group.
- When a caller asks to join your newsletter and gives an email, a Zap started by call.completed runs MailerLite's Create or Update Subscriber and Add Subscriber to a Group.
- During a live call, the receptionist adds the caller to a MailerLite group with your API token.
- Send appointment.booked events to n8n's MailerLite node to save the booking date in a subscriber field you can segment on.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About MailerLite's API
- Self-serve API: you can create a key in your account
- Style: REST
- Authentication: API token (Bearer)
- On Zapier: yes. On Make: yes.
Generate a token under Integrations > MailerLite API; it is shown only once. The global limit is 120 requests per minute, and import endpoints allow 5 per minute. Webhooks cover subscriber and campaign events and are delivered only for active accounts. Subscribers are keyed by email. The Make help page found covers MailerLite Classic (API v1), so check which version your account uses. Free-plan API limits were not verified.
Not included: no one-click MailerLite app, no listing in MailerLite's marketplace, no two-way sync, and no partnership with MailerLite.
