Use AssistCall with ShipStation
AssistCall answers your business calls 24/7 and can send each call, message and booking to ShipStation through Webhook, Live API actions, Zapier, Make, n8n.
ShipStation: ShipStation is shipping software that pulls in orders from online stores and marketplaces, compares carrier rates and prints labels.
Connects
Example call
Caller says "Has order 2207 shipped?" AssistCall looks up shipments for order 2207 in ShipStation, reads back the carrier and tracking number, and the owner gets an email summary of the call.
- During a call, AssistCall looks up shipments for an order number through the ShipStation API and reads the carrier and tracking number to the caller.
- When a caller reports a shipping problem, a Make scenario adds a tag to that order in ShipStation with Add Tag to Order, so your team sees it in the order list.
- Forward your support line to AssistCall after hours so "where is my order" calls get answered with live tracking details.
How it connects
- Webhook: Signed JSON for every call, message and booking, sent to any HTTPS URL you choose.
- Live API actions: During the call, the receptionist calls the app's API with your key to look up or create records.
- Zapier: Send AssistCall events to a Zap (Webhooks by Zapier, Catch Hook), then use the app's Zapier actions. Needs a paid Zapier plan.
- Make: Start a Make scenario with a custom webhook and use the app's Make modules.
- n8n: Start an n8n workflow with a webhook node, then call the app with its node or an HTTP request.
- Call forwarding: Forward your business line to AssistCall when busy, after hours or always. Works with any carrier.
About ShipStation's API
